I had quite a difficult journey learning to drive before meeting Alan. I previously had two different instructors, but unfortunately neither experience worked out for me. I struggled with confidence, consistency, and really understanding certain aspects of driving, and I started to feel quite discouraged about the whole process.

Everything changed when I started lessons with Alan. From the beginning, he was incredibly understanding of my difficulties. He took the time to identify where I was struggling and adapted his teaching style to suit the way I learn best. That flexibility made a huge difference to my progress.

Alan has a great personality and an excellent sense of humour, which helped me relax behind the wheel and build my confidence. His approach and positive attitude made every lesson productive and enjoyable. Even when I made mistakes, he turned them into constructive learning moments using movies quotes and a bit of humour rather than stressful situations.

Thanks to Alan’s dedication and willingness to adapt to get the best out of me as a learner, I finally passed my driving test. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without his support and guidance. I would highly recommend Alan to anyone who wants a, professional, and motivating driving instructor.

Alan is a fab driving instructor, lovely guy, really easygoing, great banter. Working with him really boosted my confidence in driving. Accommodated me when test cancellations came up and got me through test day no bother at all, finally got a pass under my belt now ☺️

The best driving instructor I could have asked for, he’s a really great guy to get on with and reassured me through all my silly mistakes and made me confident enough to pass my test first time.

I am extremely grateful for Alan. He took me on after failing my test with a previous instructor. I was extremely nervous driving, however Alan managed to build my confidence on the road. He is an excellent instructor – he never shouts. He remained calm throughout all of my lessons and steadied my nerves. I just passed my test today! I cannot recommend Alan highly enough. Alan is an amazing driving instructor, makes driving easy with his simple pointers which helped me pass first time. Above all is also a great guy and his lessons are always a good laugh and strees free. I would highly recommend Alan and 1L of a Driving School.

Highly recommend Alan! Great instructor and would bend over backwards to get you that pass! After only 5/6 days notice of my test due to the pandemic Alan had me straight out and up to scratch! Even went through the effort of changing the tyre 30 seconds into the test after a nail went through it!🤣 overall great instructor, couldn’t recommend enough!

Alan is an incredible instructor, so patient and puts you right at ease (especially if you overthink everything like me), even got me a first time pass after only 4 months!

Plus he’s got good banter and music taste, can’t recommend 1 L of a Driving School enough.
